Today we will discuss how to update your information in the Defense Enrollment Reporting System (DEERS) and how to qualify for dental benefits through the Active Duty Dental Program, TRICARE Dental Program, and TRICARE Pension Dental Program. We will evaluate foreign dental options. Finally, we will discuss the differences between medical and non-medical dental services and provide you with contact information if you have additional questions.

4 KEEP YOUR DEERS UPDATED When you and your family sign up for DEERS, be sure to keep your family members’ addresses and other contact information up to date. Keeping your DEERS information, especially your address, current is important to ensure continued TRICARE coverage for you and your family. Only sponsors can add family members to DEERS, but sponsors and family members age 18 or older can update contact information. The sponsor must update SOURCES whenever there is a change in marital status (marriage, birth, adoption, divorce, death, etc.). In case of any changes, update your information immediately, regardless of whether you are on the active page or not. You can update your DEERS information online, by phone, mail or fax. The TDP OCONUS service area includes areas not included in the CONUS service area and managed services provided on board or on vessels outside CONUS service area waters.
